Default Will PITT ever come back?

I remember a few years ago when Top Cow had the Darkness/PITT comic that it was going to lead in to a return of a PITT series. Did anything ever come of that or is that now dead in the water?

I'd like to see it happen. Pitt's part of Top Cow, right? He's too great a character to leave in the moth balls.

If I had to pick either Pitt or Maxx, to come back I'd go with The MAxx

But the Maxx's story has been told. Still. I too would like The Maxx to come back but I actually thought there were plans for PITT to come back

Last time I spoke to Dale, he mentioned plans to collect all of the original Pitt stuff and possibly come out with some new. Pitt/Darkness wasn't all that long ago, so it's not like it's been ages since we've had new stuff.

Pitt was supposed to appear in the cancelled Image United: Interlude drawn by Dale as well.

As part if this, Top Cow will collect previously published Pitt comics in trade paperbacks (which have never been collected before) as well as produce new Pitt comics and merchandise. Also this interview from June of 2011...

Dale loves working with us so much, he's entrusted us to help him bring back his classic character Pitt in the next year in a big way, which is something I'm incredibly excited about.
And from Matt Hawkins AMA in October of 2012...

Any update on Pitt returning? You guys have been teasing us for awhile!

We’ve been looking for a creative team for Pitt for a long time. Any suggestions? We want to do a new series and coordinate that with the reprinting of all Dale’s old Pitt stuff. It’s NEVER been reprinted.
I've been asking every now and then, excited for PITT to come back!

Thanks for that. It just goes to show that it is not dead in the water.

I would prefer to see Dale Keown on the creative team but either way I would like to see PITT come back.

    Still on the radar!

February 2013, London Super Comic Convention...

Dale Keown’s legendary 30 issue run on The Pitt has never been collected – so Top Cow is in now the process of collecting them, it was announced, although apparently getting the material out of outdated DAT files has been a “pain in the ass”…

I see that there will be a re-release of the original series but wasn't Keown working on new PITT material?

Do Top Cow take unsolicited proposals?
