I'm still unsure whether or not to bother with this and I was wondering if anybody that reads mainly X-books is feeling the same or if it is a must have?

The only tie in with any of my regular pulls is WatXM and that seems to only be one issue according to the solicitations.

They say indecision clouds your vision, but I'm not so sure :)

Did you read the descriptions for issues 4, 5, and 6? They all sound awful. "A broken Cap leads the team", ""Logan makes a decision that will shake the marvel universe blah blah".

I like the sound of three issues a month for something like this.

But in practise... It gets costly ($15.96 in total, or £11.96 for me, a month. On top of usual buying habits.), and events are usually a mess.

Don't buy it! Just read summaries on here and decide if the trade would be a good route to get the artwork.

I'm not an Avengers fan. Other than perhaps Schism, there have been no X-events but AvX since HoM, and that was tilted towards Avengers. Logan was still primarily an X-Man though. As an X-fan, I live for X-overs. Thus I am more excited for X-Termination than AoU. The 'Age of' titling has got to stop. Incidentally, thus far I have not read an issue of AoA, Xtreme or Astonishing, and maybe two of the old UXF which this distantly ties into.

In maybe 12-20 months, a nice big X-over might be nice, bringing WatXM, adjectiveless, AXM, ANXM, UXM and/or the X-Forces together to form a cohesive whole story in the style of either AoA or Messiah CompleX. Second Coming, while awesome in trade, I don't think made sense in the still important continuing series that comprised it.

Nope for couple reasons:

First reason is that this sounds too Avenger-y for my tastes

Second and the biggest reason of all is that Bendis made Avengers "happen" by basically copying a bunch of X-Men stories and ideas and then telling them with Avengers instead of X-Men and now that he's off the Avengers they're going to publish one last big X-men story turned Avengers story with this Age of Ultron that's pretty much Days of Future Past/Age of Apocalypse copy even down to name and concept.

Third and the second main reason is that I'm not a fan of these huge MU crossovers and as such I don't want to support them by buying the issues

Forth reason is that I'm not excited to read Frost written by Bendis

I'm probably still going to see the summaries about this to see how it ends up working

As much as I like Ultron, think I'm gonna wait til after a couple of issues to see how well written it is before picking up.
