I liked the first issue and then it went waaaaay downhill from there. Graves has the worst motivation for a villain ever.

You, sir (like the majority of comic book fans) are reading way too much into the smallest, most unimportant things.
Wonder Woman has done nothing for Superman except be an inconstantly written idiot casually switching between brutal uninteresting warrior and idiotic school girl.

I thought this was a good issue so far I been enjoying throne of atlantis and the atlanteans seem really strong now Aquaman able send Superman flying and Orm laid out both Wonder Woman and Superman with whole magic lightning overall thought was a good issue.

I liked this issue; I'm more and more curious with what Arthur's standing with Atlantis will be after this. And as to the new recruits; Still no Lady luck? I'm beginning to think we'll never see her. Instead we get Goldrush. And i wonder how the JL is going to feel about JLA poaching their recruits. That being said- why couldn't Vixen and Firestorm still sign up?

But noone seems to mention that Wonder Woman, a demigod, the daughter of ZEUS got koed by magical lightening.

If anything it was Wonder Woman who jobed to Ocean Master not Superman.

    OR
    "...being...Zeus'...daughter?... U-u-useless..."

just came across this on youtube.

Also on Wonder Woman getting shocked. Isn't she getting shot by an Atlantean soldier in the previous panel, so she's already stunned before Orm unleashes his massive lightning attack?

So I just read, like, a lot of Justice League books, like about 10 issues worth, that had been sitting around for a few months (guess I trade-waited, heh.) and I do enjoy the more comic-booky vibe of them all (hell of a lot crammed into all those panels, though), I thought the Graves issues were alright, mostly because of the art, and the Cheetah two-parter had a nice twist at the end. The big, crazy spectacle is what I enjoy about the book and he does toss in some good character moments, and what I really enjoy is seeing the different combos of leaguers pair off for a moment or two. the Shazam backup has gotten consistently better after that 0 issue and now it's really starting to get a roll on. As for this Throne of Atlantis crossover, I don't read Aquaman and I'm not going to buy the tie-ins, although it's less of a tie in than a straight line continuing narrative, so I just finished issue #15 and Aquaman's angry brother is rising out of the sea, then issue #16 Aquaman is beating up Batman so I definitely missed something in between, but the (heavy) expository dialogue caught me up. And I kinda dig just reading disconnecting pieces of it like I said, it adds to the more comic-book-y vibe if I have to just play catch-up in the next issue of JI. This crossover is bound to finish in Aquaman, isn't it, though? Hurm. Ah well, maybe Johns will be nice enough in the next issue of JI to fill me in on what happened.

So? Deathstroke is nothing to Superman.

That was over 5 years ago. This is supposed to be the same Superman who bench presses the weight of the Earth.
