I was initially psyched when I heard about this book, but when 5 of the 6 members of a team are all part-timer's belonging to OTHER teams and/or books, that just doesn't sound that cohesive or interesting to me. Sigh, this was going to be my first x-book since the early 90's, but now I gotta say I'll pass.

Why would you care if you don't read those other books anyway?

I do like there's some kind of direction going on here. That Adjectiveless run was an exercise in decompressed pointlessness, and Colossus suddenly talking like Beast in mission briefings.

I am quite looking forward to this run. I've mostly avoided the $3.99 books, but it does look like that is the way the world is going sadly.

actually, given the trend it's likely to be iron man.

Why not try the first issue before writing it off? Just because charcaters are used elsewhere does not dimish how good this book may be. Why not give it a chance?

Anyone think that two team members are gonna hook up? I'm guessing Rachel/Kitty, at long last.
