Anyone watching this right now the new Fox show with Kevin Bacon? Seems pretty good so far. It also seems a lot like a tv version of Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham.

Not sure how it seems deeper. But it's pretty much there version of those two(with Lecter being mixed with the killer from Red Dragon a bit)...like as if Graham was brought in at the end of Silence of the Lambs, and they caught Lecter almost immediately after. But that isn't a bad thing, the show was good.

I was unsure how Kevin Bacon would work on TV...seemed good so far

this whole cult thing seems to be a lot more sinister than I thought

I'm really interested to see if they can keep up the same level of quality the first episode had. It was a really nice looking show, and it didn't seem to rely one TV show setups; the way the camera was used felt a bit more like a movie.

I'm waiting to watch this On Demand glad to see reviews are positive. Did anyone else see the trailer that gave the statistic that there are 300 serial killers active in the United States at any given time? That means there are 6 active serial killers in each state. If that's a real life stat its pretty horrifying. It worked as a good tease for the show though.

Excellent first episode. I'm in, I just hope it doesn't become too formulaic with a cult serial killer follower of the week routine. Of course it had me from the first four seconds by playing a snippet of the Marilyn Manson cover song since its one of the most perfect cover's ever made.

Though I do have to suspend my disbelief to believe the guy would actually have groupies crazy enough to kill for him and stab their eyes out with icepicks for him. Yeah there are crazies who followed guys like Charles Manson and there apparently are currently groupies who find James Holmes, the Batman killer, hot. You know, I'm actually talking myself out of this one but I'm gonna leave it here anyway just for others to ponder. The Manson groupies killed even when he wasn't around and some people just are that wacked.

Which Ashmore brother plays the young FBI guy? The one that played Iceman in the X-men movies or the other one (they are identical twins and both are actors if you don't know).

Price your book at $3.99 and I'll trade wait. Make me wait too long for the trade PAPERback and I'll say screw it. I'm looking at you Marvel and Spider Island.

Shawn Ashmore, the one that played Iceman.

Oh man, I couldn't help but think the ending of the first episode reminded me about a story I saw years ago; may have been on 48 hours, don't really remember, it was back in the 90s when news magazine shows were really big. Turns out The Gainesville Ripper was one of the people Kevin Williamson researched. Also, I didn't even realize Kevin Williamson was the creator of this show.

Actually they tend to be from and hunt in certain states statistically, FL springs to mind. So not every state necessarily has one, but some may have more than others.

So he broke out of jail but only to set a revenge plot in motion where he has his daughter kidnap his son? Did I get that right? Looks like it could be an interesting show.

They need Dexter on the case or someone else smarter. The killer seemed way smarter than Bacon's character , one step ahead of the police and bacon.

Ah I assumed the Nanny was his daughter. That makes so much more sense.

Like i said , the police just seemed incompetent. The cult leader is streets ahead of everyone else.
