Logan's back! Okay not really, but its nice to see him in the Ultimate U again in same way or form. I do like the art as well from the previews.

I think readers are going to flip out when they discover who Jimmy's mother is. This connects him to other important characters in the Ultimate U in a pretty shocking way.

It also allows them to put out more minis, since they don't want two at once. In theory, at least. Hopefully they keep giving us a consistent string of minis, despite how poorly they've been selling. Maybe Wolverine will sell better.

I find this interesting and yet...it always seems that within the MC-2 Universe is where Logan obtain a much happier ending to his lifestyle as opposed to his other alternate reality counterparts.

Still, this is a great idea of exploring the life of Ultimate Wolverine. So I may want to see how Bunn deals with it as opposed to the regular Wolverine.

How does that explain his blonde hair and blue eyes? Nether Logan nor Magda had blonde hair or blue eyes.

I feel like the whole Punnets Square can be gotten around with the explanation of "It's all a part of his mutation!" if need be...If a mutant can have claws, I'd see no reason why the child of two dark-haired individuals couldn't be blonde.

It's feels good to see Ultimate Logan again. However I'm not sure if I like him acting all cool with Reese, Noris and Armstrong, whoever they are. All seems a bit.. nice.

I can't believe Bunn's so confident of his major twist of who is Jimmy's mother and bro. It's not hard to work out who they are when we've got Quicksilver standing in front of Jimmy on the cover of #3. But he did give a good interview. I'm looking forward to seeing who this big villain is supposed to be.

In both the past and the present story lines, you will see some familiar figures, but I'm keeping them a secret right now. Early on in the story, we will spend some time with the X-Men, especially Kitty Pryde. Also, Jimmy will not be embarking on his quest alone. His fellow X-Man, Black Box, will be accompanying him. You might also see some new Ultimate versions of other mainstream Marvel characters.

Kitty Pryde makes a cameo appearance and Black Box tags along for the adventure! This is very good.

I'm beyond excited for this. Love that we're getting a mini on a character that isn't one of the most popular characters ever. As far as Jimmy is concerned anyway.
