Anyone who watches Adventure Time should be reading the current comic. It's so damn good.
Really all of the Pendleton Ward/Frederator properties BOOM is handling have been superb. This is definitely on my radar.
Seems Boom is really mortgaging their future on this Adventure Time stuff after they lost the Disney license.
Danielle Corsetto is an amazingly talented, creative, and funny cartoonist. I used to read Slingshots religiously. But anyone who reads the strip may realize that Boom on one hand is going "great job, we got a real amazing young artist and writer that will bring a lot of great new ideas" and on the other hand go "dear god, our editor better be on watch for every sex based double entendre, kink reference, and potentially pervy character possible." She is entertaining and can make endearing characters, but a decent part of her strip is sex and relationship based humor, and more to the point, not typical sex based humor. If true to herself, she will have the adventure time characters dodging an angry asexual battery operated appliance who wants to be loved but not inserted, while they try to escape the dungeon of a BDSM queen who on some Cinderella/Prince Charming style search for that special slave, as the kids learn math by counting up sex partners, dividing be weeks and getting a partner per week ratio.
