Lobdell tried to hint there was a previous Teen Titans multiple times in Teen Titans and Red Hood, and editorial censored it in the trade versions. He's also had Dick be leading Roy and Starfire in flashbacks.

Deathstroke is something being set-up for James Tynion's run.

I think it was in the R.B.Silva thread.... To be hones I hadn’t thought it was Lobdell until then but now I can’t unsee it. He took the Teen Titans and gave it to Tim, Dick’s friendship with Roy is now Jason’s, Dick’s relationship with Starfire is now Roy’s, Deathstroke is a Jason foe now and Dick was never a brother to Tim that’s Jason.

This issue was brutal, and I wish it had worked better for Nightwing, but I think the way they took his history to make other charactes more relevant it's far more damaging.

It's been a while since anyone talked about TT in any forum because we all dropped it, but I can't put this all on Lobdell. When he started with TT and RHatO he was still under the assumption that Nightwing's TT past was intact. It could bee seen in all of his issues until Didio dropped the "No other groups than JL before the reboot" bomb. The general feeling was he had completely other plans for "The Culling". Also I seem to recall someone mentioning in the RHatO #16 thread that it was an editor that made the Deathstroke decree. I'm guessing the team for NW threw a fit when they were told that and Shiva was the consolation prize. So while Lobdell is benefiting from all of these decisions, it's also messing with his stories. Judging by the way he writes Tim, Jason, and Roy I'd say he liked NW.
