All the members of the Grey family are able to feel subatomic particles and electromagnetic manipulation. For instance, Psylocke was able to bend light with her tk to become invisible. Rachel Summers was able to feel light projected on an object.

Also you have from the beginning of the new 52 tried ti belittle and downplay the new SBs powers and uniqueness,and you still feel the need to do it even after 16 issues,why? Do you need to put me in my place? Or are you just so pissed that they got rid of your favorite SB,the one who was a mini superman?
Also telepaths can remote view,thats obvious,and TK users have a sense of touch when using it,but that doesnt mean they can do all that he can,or vice versa,they are telepaths,he is a energy antenna,big difference.

Again, I'm not being antagonistic with you here. I feel like you're imagining me angry or something when I'm writing. I'm not. I'm genuinely trying to help you relax here. There's no reason for being mean spirited. Look you know I don't like the nu Superboy, but I do look at his powers objectively. You love telekinesis I get that, but I've read tons of marvel books with characters like that. When I saw what he became in the new universe he didn't feel unique anymore. This was a character I grew up with and largely got me into comics. His tactile telekinesis was truly unique. He was the only one with it. I will admit that his as you put it data-like personality was interesting. I was under the impression they were going with a cyber-punk fill. Yes I'm pissed that he's gone. He was my favorite character. Mini-Superman? Yeah that's what he was and that's what got me in to liking him too. Let's face it. A superBOY is a mini superman. Remember he would always ask what would Superman do. That's why he started school when he went to Hawaii. It's what Superman would have done. He always had dreams of becoming Superman.

As for mental powers, you have to classify them. Telepaths can read thoughts but that doesn't mean they have remote viewing abilities. That's a separate ability entirely. Remote viewing is a subset of clairvoyance. Empaths can sense emotions but can't read thoughts. Some may have a combination of these abilities or possess only one of them. They don't go hand in hand. Also you may want to watch out how you describe powers. Antenna's pick up frequencies which is much like a telepath and empath. Superboy's power is an extended sense of touch down to the molecular level. His tk field seems to work like an extra layer of skin that can feel his surroundings. His tk field can feel someone's heart rate rising as if his hand were placed on their heart and he can feel differences in air pressure. Its kind of like sonar. He receives the feeling and gets a 3 dimensional image in his mind.

You have the nerve to say the post flashpoint kon was more unique than this nuSB,thatsthe craziest thing ive ever heard,he was pretty much only using supermans powers,even though he had a entirely seperate powerset at his disposal,he also was actijg,or trying to act like superman,not like he was in his own series,or YJ,or the ravers book..you say he wanted to be like superman even back in hawaii,sure he wanted to be a good man,and a great hero,but no he didnt want to follow him to the extent as geoffs mini supes did,no where close.oh and a superboy doesnt need to be a wannabe to be a superboy.this kon is way different than superman,and i love it,he doesnt think,repsond,or act like kal at all,thank you.
SBs TTK has always been shown to evolve into no touch TK(sins of youth and titans of tomorrow),so this idea you have that this kon lost its uniqueness,when he was always meant to have the powers he has now is funny.you hit it right with your last coupe senstences,so why waste the writing for everything before that,he isnt a telepath ir empath etc,he senses energy of all kinds like a antenna,so sure he can sense telepathic ENERGY, but thats not all he does,just like you said.
And i dont like the way you are trying to say he is just like al the rest,does that mean those Marvel characters who only use telepathy or just like the ones who only can create force fields,or ones who can create mental knives or like the ones who only make illusions,ill answer,no they are all different ,just like kon is.

Dude, "your thread" is on a public public forum for all to see. Everyone has a right to coment in it. When you make your angry coments it distracts from the disscussion on hand and turns attention toward you. All the anger makes it hard to enjoy a thread about a character we all like. This seems to happen eventually with most of "your threads" because someone makes you mad. You need to realize that not every comment directed to you is an attack. If you want your threads to stop getting derailed you should stop getting into internet fights every time you start one.

Imo TK is more of a magical anything goes version of electromagnetisum,that comics use so they dont have to be restrained by real science.

Sinestro in my book, not for powers though.

I was just talking in terms of powers. Outside of powers I don't really see any comparrison. As I said there are other characters much closer to Magneto's ability in the DC Universe.

I don't really see the Magneto and Superboy comparison here.
