And Rain Beredo makes the colors bright, compared to Casellis Initiative issues which were much darker colored.
4 stars? I suppose it's not high stakes enough to warrant 5 stars, like Hickmans book, but there is something more important here than the multiverse in danger, and that's that the characters are allowed to show themselves in each and every page. There is a real divide with KSD's AA from Avengers, in that the incidental shows more about the people who are Avengers, than being decision makers in the high stakes version. the Avengers aren't constantly facing dilemmas so mind numbing that they can't think. In this version, AA takes the Avengers for a ride that doesn't require analytically thinking, on a cosmic level. It is the down time of the Avengers. It is tricks being played on Avengers. It is warrior tom foolery.

Visited NY and DC and saw Spider-Man Turn off the Dark.
The Justice League is a team. The Avengers are a family. And while the Avengers deal with some big, world-changing events, they also hang out in their downtime. In several cases, they even live together. The fall in love, they get married, they have kids. Once an Avenger, always an Avenger. So let Avengers do it's big, awesome story. If you want the family aspect, you'll find it with equal quality in Avengers Assemble.
