If it only affected consumed heroes you would have a point, but it did not

whether some of them are heroes is a matter of significant debate, they all have taken turns as villians

registration is fully in line with Uncle Ben's sage reasoning. Superfolk register to accept responsibility for their decidely above-the-law actions. they shouldn't have it easier than law enforcement.

I don't think that shows that he can't make tough decisions. It just shows that he's trying to find an alternative. And there's nothing wrong with that.

He has an alternate plan to destroying another world... the infinity gems. That might not work, but I think it's fair that he wants to try that first. And they all seemed to agree with him that it's at least worth a shot.

If he had NO other option and he still refused to destroy the other world, I might agree with you. But they're not at that point yet.

Or maybe they he should just keep it so they don't have to go through that again.

Getting AWAY from the standard bitching about AvX and trying to paint Cap as a genocidal warlord...

There was the time when he had to chose between killing Baron Blood and having the vampire regain his full strength.

Then there was the time Cap had to chose between using a gun to take down a soldier of ULTIMATUM or allow him to continue to fire into a crowd of innocent civilians.

That might be the reason why he leaves the group

I'm convinced he either walks in disgust or they boot him and wipe his memory as a kind of mercy, so he won't have the destruction of a world on his conscience. Probably the latter.

Yeah agree the first issue of avengers does likely point to the second option happening
