We can talk about it now if you like.

As an E ranl power, I'd be comfortable with +5 to Skill to start off with, how does that sound to you?

Hopefully they should be up tonight, I'm working with my housemate to nail everything down cleanly and I'm actually at home tonight so it should be fine.

Sounds fine with me. It works for all skills, or just the ones I have access to already?

    Name: Devon Gaskell

    Age: 25

    Height: 5'8

    Weight: 145 pounds

Description: A man of medium height and build, who tends to go for the lower end of formal clothing. He has light brown hair in a Caesar cut, and dark green eyes. He looks rather average, aside from two distinctive scars. One was the result of a drunken blunder meeting a steel pipe and a car door, which happened during his time with the gang. That one goes from his temple to his brow. He doesn't talk about the one on his neck, though it looks like someone had shaved off parts of his flesh a long time ago.

Biography: Like many members of the Riverside Crocodiles, Devon is a self-made man. It was a long road to success, filled with much failure and struggle. Indeed, there were only a few moments where he could truly be proud of his efforts. But he bore these burdens and defeats with dignity, eventually overcoming them to become a member of the gang. Though his suit was not as fine as that of the others and his aura of confidence was more forced than natural, he was one of them now.

The only sign of his past was the ragged band of scar tissue across his neck. The rest was something he never spoke of, though he would always smile and say that he did not have to fear poverty as long as he did his job right.

Personality: Devon loves to win whenever he can. Fairness is not something that he really cares about, except when violence is involved. In those cases, he tries to keep things civil, preferring to avoid bloodshed if he can help it. He's not helpless, but he doesn't have much of an inclination towards fighting. After all, he got into the business for money, not for the action. That does change in matters concerning debt, however. Though he does bend to reason and may even give second chances, he is distinctly callous when debtors continually refuse to pay.

He appears to be a more moderate sort of fellow in most respects. He's friendly yet strict and greedy, a man who would give his friends presents then bill them for 50% of the purchase. Excluding taxes, of course. Devon is a reasonable person.

Surprisingly, Devon is capable of accepting defeat with dignity. Despite the fact that he does whatever he can to win, he will call it quits and try to recoup his losses when he is at an overwhelming disadvantage. Success in the short term is satisfying, but it isn't worth destroying his future over. He wants to be around 50 years from now, still living the high life. Part of that ideal life is grace even in loss and humiliation.

It's more for his own integrity as a person, though it benefits his image as well. In this crazy world, image is often more than substance. If the content of his self cannot match the perception of others, at the very least it should be something worthy of respect. A man's got to leave something good behind when he dies, right?

    Interesting.

You've managed to set up a rather intriguing character with only a few choice bits placed into his bio etc.

Another person without powers as well. Interesting. ^_^

Hello all. It's been a while since I've done this sort of thing but Nik Hasta encouraged me to have a go (I'm his flatmate).
    So here's my go.

Name: Jacob Webb (real name Daniel Roberts)
    Age: 22
    Height: 5’9
    Weight: 125 lbs
    Description and image:

    http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m5...639o1_1280.png

Jacob gives the impression of a tall, dark stranger. Which is odd, because he is pale-skinned and average height. He keeps an even level of stubble on his chin, but only to stop people confusing his boyish face for that of a teenager. One might call him attractive, but only down to heavily-regimented maintenance of his looks. Never a stray hair, never a mark or blemish on his skin. If not for this, his undernourishment would make him look very unhealthy.

    Biography:
Jacob, or Daniel as he was then known, doesn’t really hate his father for walking out on the family. First of all, how can you hate somebody you’ve never met? And secondly, after fifteen years living with his neglectful, alcoholic mother, he did exactly the same thing. There was no argument, no trigger, he just disappeared one day and made for Gridport.

Since then, he dipped in and out of homelessness. He kept a few minimum wage jobs but eventually walked out on them too. His living has mostly been made on petty theft and mugging. But after seeing his various associates either killed, arrested or wind up just as broke as when they started, he knows the real money lies in organised crime. And he’s set his sights on the richest of them all: The Crocodiles.

So. Living out of a second-hand RV he inherited from a friend, he started saving his money, often going without food. He earned enough to buy a decent tailored suit, a pot of hair-gel, an expensive cologne and a fake ID with a fake name. Then he walked into the biggest casino on the riverside and got accepted into the gang by pretending to be one of them.

    Personality:
Jacob is quiet by nature. He makes friends easily, though rarely, for he is just as content in his own company as he is in a crowd. He has been described as aloof, but in truth he is fascinated by other people and figuring out how they work. He has spent many of his street-rat days simply watching people pass by. This trait has lent itself well to mimicry and has led to a greater understanding of how society operates.

He would call himself ‘intelligent’, but he is a good schemer and very intuitive. He understands the importance of preparation always has a back-up plan. He keeps a cool head in a crisis and has no temper to speak of. However, his judgement can be coloured by greed and determination to get rich quick.

The only thing that makes him anxious is feeling out of control. His biggest fear is violence. He has little skill for fighting and he never trusts chance. While he would not feel guilty about killing somebody if the need arose, he would take time to plan the least messy method.

    Gang Affiliation: Riverside Crocodiles

    Physicality: 5
    Marksmanship: 2
    Skill: 14
Skill Sets: Cheating (free), Disguise (free), Composure (free)
    Power: 4
    Power Rank: E
    Power Name: White Lie
Power Description: Once a day, Jacob can tell a lie with a bonus to its effectiveness. (Not sure how much of a bonus would be appropriate. Help me out?)

    Respect: 19
    Fear: 11

Hey man, looks good to me.

Your bonus to your lie will be a +5 since it's an E rank power.

Otherwise, happy with the character. Lot of people going for the Riverside Crocodiles, a side that didn't really expect to be that popular.

Gun Table should be up tonight.

I suppose 3 people is a lot, given that the game has a max of 10.

But really, how could you not expect the Riverside Crocodiles to be popular?

You seriously didn't expect a group with that name to be popular?

I was honestly expecting more action for the Westside Tigers and Central City Spiders to be honest. They cover the Cyberpunk and Asian chi-based fighters between them which I though more people would go for them.

The Schreibet were always going to be popular because they have no required stats but Crocodiles have surprised me with their popularity so far.

In other words, you thought Cyberpunk and Kung Fu (Yes, yes, I know this is wrong Sharp) > Drugs, Gambling, & Hookers?
