It's too early to say there's been a fair bit of interuptment in his development and that really needs to stop and he really needs to be his own character he's trying to be Peter too much with the humour as Spidey.

The love interest would be good too I honestly thought that he was going to end up gay (which would not have been cool, no I'm not homophobic but I couldn't take a gay Spiderman).

And I thought this guy was smart which is why he's in this private school thing how come Ganke is pretty much helping him with everything including making the webbing.

He didn't get into the private school on academic merit, it was simply and literally luck of the draw.

I will have to respectfully disagree with you on these topics. You would really want this Teenage Hero to run around biting people. This would not only hurt his appeal to a wider audience (parents might not approve) it would also require him to expose his face thus helping to give away his identity. I can't understand the overall dislike for the Venom Blast but then again I'm a fan of the original version 616 Spider-Woman has. You have to also remember he was bitten by a genetically altered spider infused with the Oz formula. This means the power set doesn't have to correspond to exactly what we perceive from nature. Spider 42 could have been modified with DNA from an electric fish. This could also help to explain his spider sense with electroreception. Though I do prefer the idea of setae like you suggested it again poses a problem of him having to expose his skin.

I also think they missed a huge opportunity by not giving him organic web. I saw this video recently and was just blown away by all the possibilities that could have been. Imagine if he had golden orb weaver spider silk. It could be translucent golden color. Though I imagine ignorant jokes would come of it like Black Spider-man with the BLING BLING!

I finish by saying I am enjoying Miles' story very much so far. Even the DWF/UWS storyline did something majorly important for his character. It made him realize he is not yet ready to play with the big dogs, which should mean we won't have to see any more crazy crossovers any time soon. Hopefully this will also have him sit down and really figure out what he is capable of like he considered back in issue 7. Either way I'm looking forward to what comes next and hope the series continues for a long time to come.

Well, I'm not super attached to the Spider-Fangs. Although you may be overestimating the potential parental panic; Millions of teeny boppers and young adults across the western hemisphere are fanatic Twilight fans. I don't see all that much parental concern occuring.

I agree with you on the webs; Bendis should have given Miles organic webs. That was a great video; Thanks for the link. I also liked your idea for Electroreception as a type of Spider-Sense.
