Eric F is good, but I really think that Anthony is better. He had a slight stumble for a couple of weeks, but this week he was back to form. His makeup this week was hands down the best overall. He not only had an impressive makeup design and execution, but he was also the only one who did a fantastic job with the Bio-Luminescense. The idea was to have a makeup that looked different in the black light from what it did in normal lighting. Anthony NAILED IT!!!

I would actually like to see a movie that has this character as a main character. Very nicely done. If Anthony can now remain at this level (the level he started at) then he can win the whole thing. Easily.

So happy to see Bruce Campbell with a cameo this episode. All the final five contestants had solid designs this week. Loved the crocodile face sculpt by Wayne, I think he is a strong contender for the final three. I liked the concept from House but think his final look had a pot belly. Wasn't surprised to see him go. Kinda disappointed by the paint job from Anthony. Surprised to see him still struggling, a bit shocking to see him in the bottom two. Kris had a pretty gruesome final look. Eric F created my favorite character by far. Funny as hell his character had both nipples pierced.

Next week's challenge is called "Alien Apocalypse". Disappointing that is will be the third product placement challenge on this season. Has anyone been watching the Face-Off Redemption mini episodes online or On Demand?

I know this show has to pay the bills but I count at least three challenges that revolve around product placement, two of which were in a row. That just really disappoints me. There are so much better ideas for challenges, especially this one because it's the 2nd to last round.

Weird to see Eric F struggle, it's clear the subject matter he was forced to work with was outside his comfort zone. He kept referring to Harry and the Hendersons as if that was a bad thing. Rick Baker called that movie one of his "proudest achievements". Made Eric F look like a clueless dick plus his final look came up short. Wayne once again had a good sculpt and once again did not manage his time well. Sick of seeing him not have enough time to do a complete paint job. Glad he made it to the top three though. No surprise Anthony made it to the top three, still his game to lose.

The next episode Living the Dream: Part 1 is the first part of the finale. It will require the final three to have water proof makeups which is one of the harder challenges IMO. A lot of thought has to go into the designs so it should be interesting.

Sad to see Eric F leave, He got screwed when he's last for the pick and both creature types he wanted all got picked by the others leaving him struggling to incorporate together the ones he did picked. Too bad that he also failed to win the face off redemption challenge , leaving Eric Z as the winner and appearing again with a huge advantage over the rest next season.

What family emergency caused Eric F to miss out on the chance to visit the defiance set in canada anyway ? He missed out on a lot and getting the 2 picks he really did not want , things were stacked against him. He could have done a better job i suppose.

Too bad for Anthony getting stuck with Autumn as a teammate. Despite that his team had the best final look IMO. Kris' team had a great concept and the final look of his dream thief was great but something about his female character didn't look right to me. I think it had too much texture to the sculpt and ended up looking bulky overall. Kinda disappointed in Wayne's final look but I liked the back sculpt of his female character and the head sculpt on his male character. I'm surprised any of those makeups help up with all that movement and the impact of the water. No surprise spoilers:
Anthony won this season. I think everybody pretty much called it since day one.
    end of spoilers

So I guess Season 5 starts August 27th?

So Eric Z will definitely appear as a contestant in season 5? I haven't been watching the redemption rounds On Demand. Are they any good?

So happy with the ending. I cannot wait to see how Anthony, Wayne and Chris do. This group was the most talented yet. And for the most part Face-Off has avoided the overly dramatic contestants. It is one of the few "reality" competition shows I consistently enjoy.

The one guy previous season who stormed off into the night never to be seen was rather dramatic.
Overall great fun. Only recently discovered this show and watched the episodes back to back.
    All caught up now.
It's going to be a tight race to the finish.

The contestant from Texas, Joe, was so annoying and he was purposely getting on the nerves of the others contestants (specifically Tommy). As for storming off set I have no respect for someone like that. Especially a show like this, he threw away a huge opportunity. From what I saw it seemed like he wasn't up to par skill wise with the other contestants. Something that might have been painfully obvious to him in that first round where Sean Astin was the guest judge.

The Final 4 or 5 guys were arguably the best people left in the competition , agree that the group was the most talented yet. Anthony does have a legs up over the rest since he actually interned under stan winston and worked on Avatar and Indiana jones 4 , that kind of exposure has to be huge.
