The plot isn't interesting nor is the lackluster villain.



Red Skull seems downright comical making his speech. Why is he wasting time mind-controlling a few bozos on 5th Avenue? He doesn't realize that folks have Iphones and can record his ass? And when he's on live TV, his mental powers are a big zip? He's a goddamn Nazi. Nobody will listen to a Nazi.

I hope Remender improves because the "flagship" title is incredibly boring....

You know, we can all laugh or complain about the plot or the timing of the comic... but I think it's only because it's fantasy racism.

If the Grand Dragon of the KKK developed mind control powers, went into a crowd to brainwash the crowd while tell them that Black People wanted to enslave them and the men wanted to rape their wives... then had mind controlled Barack Obama appear behind him telling them this is his mission once he got into the white house....

At best it is disturbing thought-provoking fiction, at worse offensive....

His powers do work on Television thanks to Honest John, remember last issue where he influence peoplke via television?

The villain is certainly no lackluster and people are listening to him. It's not just people on 5th avenue, didn't you read the last issue? Or the preview? Because the preview explains why he's going for the masses first.
