i like the creative team.

That's the only reason why I'm picking it up. The cast is boring (I only like Kitty, although Rachel and Jubilee are ok) and the premise... well, it's the same as the previous X-men, really, basic X-men adventures. With the great diversity the NOW! X-titles offer, they really dropped the ball with this one. Nothing's changed but the cast. If it weren't for the fact that they're all female, there wouldn't even be a need for a relaunch.

X-Men and Fearless Defenders are getting profiled in the same places - the only difference is that now Laura Hudson's running Wired, she's interviewed Brian Wood because they're friendly. X-Men is just the more recent project, with the more recent interviews, so people remember it more.

Wood's book has taken the wind out of UXF's sails, undoubtedly. Its fucking sunk Fearless Defenders, though, as far as I can see.

I hope not. Fearless Defenders sounds amazing. Also, it'd be absolute garbage if the fans decide that they can't support a marketplace which has two all-female teams in it. The idea of one book sinking the other suggests that an all-female team is a gimmick which can only be sustained by one book at a time, which I really hope comic book fans don't believe.

I've been running it for 3 years now and my and my Vice-Commish Hakael noticed in the first two years that a bunch of new posters popped up out of no where when we started it and never posted again through the season. So In order for us to get dedicated X-Boards posters we put in a minimum post rule meaning you have to have a certain amount of posts on the forums to be considered to get in. I think we're ether upping the post count to 500 or 1000 can't remember which.
