I do kind of wonder if it is sustainable though. There can always be zombies on the loose in "Walking Dead" but spoilers:end of spoilers
with Joe back in jail, he can't break out again so I guess it will be his followers fueling the storylines. I can't see the Hardy character having another nemesis popping up. This looks like the one case that will haunt him throughout the series

Yeah, I know what you mean. To be completely honest, I'm kind of hoping that the series is done after season 1. Stretch it too much and it becomes 24 where you have to wonder how much can really happen around one dude. I'd be open to the idea of shifting the lead every season with a new case, but that's not something US audiences are willing to accept. I don't know we'll see how this season plays out.

First episode of The Enthusiast! is available to download here. I clearly mention when the comic stuff is coming, so you can stop listening if you're behind.
Yeah, he might be cramped for space for his comic books. I look at a listing like that and wonder why they list almost twice as many bathrooms as bedrooms (11 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms) I keep thinking I wouldn't want to have to clean all the bathrooms. Shows I wasn't born to be rich.

Yes, something like that. You have a set number of episodes and then the story is done. With Thomas Harris's series of books, which seems to be the template for a story like this, the Will Graham character was pretty much forgotten about and the focus shifted to Hannibal Lector. I really thought the Hannibal book was disappointing (IIRC got terrible reviews too) and didn't bother with the last one that went into his childhood.
