@Captain M: Why would you drop New Avengers? Everybody else seems to think it's the better book, and the one to actually keep. I say, buy NA in trades, if your short on money. Looks to be another epic like FF from Hickman, to me.

I think it is mostly based on other preview materials as well as the origins of Ex Nihilo as given in issue 2. Not so much in this preview though.

An upcoming cover shows an image similar to the one used as a promo for the New Universe line back in the 80s. And Ex Nihilo's makers have ties to the more recent newuniversal series, and evokes the image if a crescent moon, which was tied to the Night Mask character from that series.

Didn't someone identify that as Sumerian? I'm not so sure Adam's tongue has any earthly analog.

i hope he keeps getting more and more cover work, as marvel aparently will Never let him do interiors (ironman: Liva las Vegas and Astonishing Captain America, he was supose to do the interiors for, and both where cancelled )
