Default Did Hobo Namor Make him Care More for Peasants? (Namor Week Thread)

For a long stretch after World War II, Namor got dehydrated, and wandered around as a homeless, bearded vagrant. He remained that way until one day, Johnny Storm gave him the most irresponsible shave in history.

During this time, did a lifestyle of riding the rails in box cars, eating out of trash cans, and finding whatever booze he could get his hands on give him an appreciation for the rest of his days about the plight of the homeless?

Perhaps it should be noted, when Atlantis has had to be abandoned, Namor pushed hard for a new home for his people to be built beneath Utopia. Coincidence, or proof that he believes all people need a roof over their heads?

I think his time being creepy looking made him care more for ugly mutants like Crosta (the Atlanteans in general) and thick girls like Loa, but he still only wants to bang hot blondes and to do that he has to be a dick all the time. So he's like, I feel bad for you, go live under the rug I built beneath my new Master Race island.

Oh, heck no! Namor is all king--he never thinks about the serfs.

And, btw, I can't see your 2nd set of panels, worstblogever, because that comic book doesn't exist.

I cannot un-see what I have seen. No matter how much I wish to.

Since his people were homeless more than once, I'd have to say yes, he's concerned about the homeless.

However, if you are speaking of peasants and the disenfranchised, I again say yes. He elevated Vashti, a common coral gather, to his vizier. He's taken in refugees from Lemuria to the Hydrobase airbreathers transformed into water breathers, to space aliens. There were hints in his last ongoing that he was hoping to change the social classes of the Atlanteans. Even his alliance with the X-Men was about securing them a home.
