Default Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E., #16

Matt Kindt and Alberto Ponticelli bid "Auf Wiedersehen!" to "Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E." in a most appropriate manner: by having Frankenstein continue to fight the good fight.

I'll miss this title. Really liked it. I just wish two of the final issues hadn't been tied up with the whole Rotworld thing.

I enjoyed this series from the start. Interesting group but unfortunately the book did not capture enough readers. Ponticelli's artwork was great. Would like to see him go over to Marvel.

Frank in his own book was a true character. Now he goes to Justice League Dark to be Constatine's errand boy and impotently tell him how he's going to harm him now and then.
Sad to see this comic go. Even more sad that DC is slowly cutting out the ones I like and not replacing them with anything I'd be interested in.
Oh well. It was a fun run, thanks for the issues we did get!

I couldn't care less about DC's popular superheroes. I'll be saving money each month, as a result.

I thought the last issue was kind of strange. I was not really connected to the previous issue. I was out of blue...and how did everthing come back to normal.

Thank you. No reviewer etc is mentioning this but I felt the same way. All of a sudden everyone is alive, there's no mention of the baby. Nina speaks of Frank being distant (or something along those lines, I don't have the book in front of me) and I'm like, "What, when did that start?" It's like there's a missing arc between last issue and this.

Hopefully the end of Rotworld will clear up some of this.

Rotworld's a possible/alternate future story: this is set back in the present day.
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...

    I loved the issue.

But I totally didn't see it ending that way when I cracked it open. I seriously thought that FBI guy was going to be quenched in Franken-blood and plague pox and turn into an Invisible Man or The Blob or some other variation of Universal Monster to join S.H.A.D.E. End the whole story with a big "Ha! There was totally endless story to tell - see, new character" moment.

But I dug it regardless. A classic bit used well.
