Great news glad they are getting another issue to finish up the story. I wonder if both 17 and 18 are extra sized or if 17 will now be regular sized issue and 18 be the extra sized one.

Good News. I hope this keeps happening forever.
    Rehire Grant Morrison for Superman.
    Give Lois her own BOOKS.
Keep Scott Lobdell in Superverse forever.

Ah, so this explains why Daniels said a while back everyone would have to wait one more month.

    I know, right?

Morrison: Okay, gents, I know what I said but really -- issue 75, my final issue, and then I'm out. For good!

I hope this was planned ahead of time, because if this was down to the last minute about him taking over this issue, then the quality of this issue might be suspect. Sure, people say, it's Morrison it'll be good, but I'm more skeptical about this.

Good news. So with all said and done, Morrison will have done 19 issues of ACTION (counting #0). A pretty lengthy run all said and done.

Although I was looking foward to Tony Daniel's art in #18, I can wait one more month to see Morrison go out in style

More, when you consider that oversized issues have been scattered throughout the run (no backups in a number of them as a result).

    Heh. I'm sure you can't.

With that said, well, obviously the more of Morrison we get, the happier I am, but how is that even possible?

Goodbye León (november 16th, 1993 - june 12th, 2009). You were, are and always will be the best friend I ever had. I will always love you and never forget you. And please, please forgive me.

Thank you for teaching me about love, patience and caring. Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope that wherever it is you are now, you can run and play as much as you want.

    Good point.

I wonder though...will the back-ups continue? Diggle's first two issues seem to be oversized, but i wonder if that will be the case from now on? I for one liked most of the back-ups. They may not have been mind blowing or anything, but they helped fill in the blanks in places and gave a bit of color to the burgeoning new 52 Superman. I for one would like to see them continue, filling in more pieces of our heros' new past.

I'm really fine either way. I sort of like backups as a place for lesser known writers to cut their teeth and show what they've got.
