Sad thing, everything is about "relevant" characters. It seems no one wants to read about the lesser known character. And writers don't want to use & develop c-lists either. What a vicious circle!
I don't blame anyone, but I do hope that the writers will regain some of the freedom. Even if it had to take another decade.

I miss when comics were experimental and tried new things. Using lesser known characters and actually trying to give them a push. Now everything is basically like TV, same people over and over.

Am I the only one who, looking at this team, gets a strong "Wolvie's Angels" vibe? Every single female on that team has either been mentored by Logan or was/is in a romantic relationship with him. Well, assuming Stormverine goes somewhere in WATXM.

I'm not sure, I like the idea of an all X-Women X-Men title gives the X-Women a chance to shine but whether it will surpass the 1991 X-Men 1 I don't know. I will be definitely getting this one and the 1st story arc at least, but we shall see. However while this may garner a lot of hype and interest, as the poster above me says Uncanny is and always will be the flagship X-Men book
