John Marston Vs Red Harlow

The main protagonist from Red Dead Redemption goes up against the main protagonist from Red Dead Revolver.

Two scenarios:

Scenario 1: They have an iconic western duel. Who is the quicker draw? Who can put the other down first.

Scenario 2: Good old gun fight. They have it out somewhere in a wide flat terrain that is littered with ample cover. They have access to the guns that they can acquire from their main games. No turrets or Gatling guns or cannons of course. Just their rifles, repeaters, hand guns, etc. They start 25-50 meters away from one another already behind cover. The terrain is about 100 meters wide and 100 meters long.

Who wins in either scenario? Does the Brimstone quick draw champion take this? Or does the ex-outlaw turned family man seeking redemption show Red how it is done?

Yeppers. Though Harlow has a deadeye equivalent to Deadeye level 2 from Redemption.

Though it makes me wonder what exactly is it? Is it enhanced reflex's or a simple game mechanic? There isn't any lore on it, though there is training to improve their aim that unlocks it for them in the first place.

Anyway for this thread let us say they both have slightly above peak human reflex's and accuracy making them incredibly fast at aiming, shooting, and drawing their weapons.

In gameplay of course, he's taken multiple revolver rounds and lived (er...) to tell about it.

Though, in that one cutscene, he took multiple rifle rounds all over his body and managed to... live... for a few more seconds than he probably should've been able.

Before that, he was one of four people fighting an entire army of gunslingers and holding them off fairly well. It eventually wore him down, but what's the scale of Harlow's opponents?

Well to be fair, John did have Jack helping him out. And even though Jack was a but of a greenhorn at that time, he was no slouch, and ended up being able to self train himself in the few years after John's death to be able to have as good as aim and reflex's as his father did(if not better).

As for Red's opponents? Well...some aren't normal to be sure. Some of his bounty targets and boss fights seem to be similar to what you would see in the wild wild west film that stared Will Smith. Such as Colonel Daren who had a mortar mounted on his arm or Pig Josh who has bullet proof shields on his wrists and throws dynamite at Red while being teamed up with the Fidgits who are clowns that are incredibly fast, moving all over the place shooting at Red and Jack, and of course Sidney "Sissy" Fes who threw boulders at Red and duels Red..then throws boulders at him again..before being gunned down by Red.

Other than that most of Red's bounty hunts involve having to slaughter an entire gang to get to the target and then kill the target. A lot of times though he had to do similar to trained military soldiers while going after Daren and Deigo. So he too has killed his fair share of military soldiers. Though he mostly did this alone without help(not always but most of the time he soloed these guys with their gangs). Even at a disadvantage such as when facing against a target that used a canon on him and another that fires a Gatling gun at him, he ends up taking them down without much difficulty. He also defeated Mr.Kelly, a famed gunslinger and four time champion of the Brimestone battle royals. Both in a duel and in a gun fight after.

He also killed a large number of bandits as a kid when they attacked his home at the beginning of his story. This was with no previous gun fighting experience. Just target shooting.

I realized that with those feats alone Red should win this in both scenarios.

And now I have to go unearth Red Dead Revolver from some convenience store.
