this series continues to be very strong. as noted in the review, i'm also really digging the 3 issue arcs, it doesn't get bogged down with unnecessary drivel and stays fresh. looking forward to what mirko colak brings with the art for the next arc.
SPACE FOR RENT!
This was the best issue yet, I'm honestly speechless. And I wholeheartedly concur with the review.
More people should be reading this book... they don't know what they're missing.
I never had any real interest in or knowledge of Conan before this run. I was only compelled to get it because I loved Wood and Cloonan's Demo. But this series has managed to sneak up on me and is now easily one of my top favorite books I'm reading right now.
And that double page spread with the dead rat under the stairs seriously blew my mind.
I'm really enjoying this comic. Having the last parts of the flu I feel for the crew on the ship and totally identify with the weakness and abandon they feel being so ill.
The writing was excellent, but still they really should secure a good artist for this title to do it justice, there has been what 3, 4? different artists that came aboard in 12 issues and in my opinion only one was dignify to do so.
