I loved this issue like usual. Waid is pretty much my go to guy nowadays and I pick up everything he writes. I always like seeing the everyday life of a blind man who gets short changed and using plastic.

I picked this up for all the praise it was getting and was pretty letdown. I did like the ending, but not enough to buy next issue.
I enjoyed Waid's take on Superior Spidey. I'm am really enjoying the new Spider-Man. I thought the book was well written and drawn. Just enjoyable. $2.99 well spent.
"That's not just "one man"! That's TONY FREAKING STARK. You're intel should've warned us that he was James Bond and "Q" wrapped in the same guy!" Cobra
I loved the part where DD replies "The die is cast? Who says that?" when SpOck said it to him then moments later Stilt-Man says it again, LOL. Waid worked Stilt-Man into this issue pretty well, seeing how his appearance has relation to SpOck. But the part that really hit me was the ending.

Waid is flawless, and Samnee is just pure gold.

If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

I really enjoyed this. Classic hero misunderstanding, distraction, and subsequent antics. Plus, we get an advancement in the ongoing plot (even if it is a sad one). I liked how the first story page was structured, too.
I'm a little confused by the inclusion of Stilt-Man. Was there a living one to be used?

Please with the evil conspiracy theories. I suppose it would be impossible for a writer to have a little fun with a character/idea you don't approve of?
Granted the ending was soapy, but it's to be expected from this book as it's always leaned heavily on the overdramatic meolodrama. It'll be nice to have a conflict in this book that Matt can't punch out or ignore.
Samnee's art seemed even more stripped down than normal, which I appreciate as it works well with primary color scheme to give the book a very unique look among it's Marvel breathren. I've always liked the more abstract/cartooning work of artists like Samnee or Hawkeye's Aja, and it's to both of their credit that they're able to have a like-mined style while staying noticably their own.
Overall, DD has been a very consistant book. At this point, it's such a known quantity that it's never top-of-the-week but it's kept me looking forward to the next issue which is a lot more than a lot of other series can say. Credit to creative and editorial team.

Loved this. Samnee is perfect for this book, and gives it an old school vibe that I love. Waid is bringing his a-game every month making this the most enjoyable book at Marvel.
