By far the best issue of the series. I've been on from the start and always questioned whether or not to drop it. Now I don't need to think about it. I'm on!

Whoa! Bold statement but I know where you're coming from. I didn't realize creative had changed and thought "oh, oh, it's starting to get good again!" Shocked to see Cornell was off the book.

I think it's a mix up, but I think it's the "Easternmost part of Europe." part of it that's wrong (had it been Westernmost part of Europe it would have been completely accurate). It would take them something like two-three months or more to get from Lithuania to the 'heart of Spain'.
That said it could just be the usual comicbook treatment of actual facts...like this place Al-Wadi seems to be either a re-imagined version of either Toledo or more likely Córdoba. Kinda like how all the new and normally scummiest countries in Europe are always located somewhere in the remains of the old East Block. Places like Latveria, Zandia and the Spectre destroyed Vlatava.

Hmmm Mr Venditti and the DC editors should catch up with their history and geography lessons, Lusitania is the name to Romans gave to the country known today as Portugal, which is located in the Westernmost end of Europe - not Easternmost as this issue wrongly claims.

Sorry but I can't overlook this kind of mistake... other than that this was a very solid issue; looking forward to this run.
