    Default Hawkeye Blindspot TPB

Yesterday at Great Escape in Nashville they had Hawkeye Blindspot tpb for half off.

Cause of the price and cause I've been on an archer kick lately I gave it a shot and what a shot it was.

It tells Hawkeye’s story, so you need not have read anything about him before you read Blindspot. The only bad thing was that it didn't give you more info why Black Widow and Mockingbird are important to him.

Not to my mention it had good story and plenty of action. For someone who hasn't read anything with the 616 Hawkeye and know little about him I think this is a good read for those new to him.

Nope. This is old-school, pre-hipster Hawkeye.

Marvel NOW! would like you to forget he ever existed.

Is the Hawkeye in his series that different from the one I just read about?

No. Some people just don't like the costume change, and it was confirmed early on in Hawkeye that his backstory is the same (even if the age stated is a bit dodgy).

I'm well aware that Fraction's Hawkeye is the same character; in fact I'm loving the book!

This ----> , usually implies sarcasm or an otherwise facetious statement.

The first volume of Matt Fraction's current series is available for pre-order, and well worth it.

If you want something more in line with "Blindspot", check out Hawkeye & Mockingbird - "Ghosts" and "Widowmaker". They're both by Jim McCann and equally excellent.

What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.
