Great, I saw the thumbnail of that stupid Deadpool cover, and for a split second, thought it was Cosmo.
I do miss the Keith Giffen uniforms.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

I absolutely hate that bendis is anywhere near Guardians. I loved the DnA series. This will be a series with familiar-looking characters who act nothing like they have been for decades. *sigh*
I'd love to be wrong on this.
Going to wait and see. But it will suck if they completely blow up what Giffen and DnA has done.

He is writing All New X-Men like he is inspired. Maybe he was just burned out with the Avengers. He sounds enthusiastic about this book and has a plan. It should be good.

I don't like the cosmic Avengers part. Let GOTG be GOTG.
Also, I'm not too certain about getting mixed up on Earth so much.
Same here, I get changing Gamora some if you want less boobage, but she and Quill look pretty generic. I think I saw these as action figures at the dollar store when I was a kid. The idea that those two's new costumes looks worn in doesn't seem to fit in the world. The art looks great overall which is to be expected but those two designs are rather bland. Especially in a world where characters are identified by their costumes as much as anything.
BAD TOUCHSCREEN TYPER
DnA's version of the Guardians had not run out of steam when it got cancelled (poor sales are deadlier than Thanos, by gum!) so I'm a bit sad to see a new direction for these characters... It feels like there was an unfinished story somewhere, and that instead of the end we get a new one. I'm also sad not to have Cosmo prominently on board (for the moment, at least) as he was the coolest character Marvel gave us in the last decade; I'll also miss the chats between Quill and Mantis as well as the great, great Celestial Head headquarters.
But hey, the enthusiasm of the new creative team is encouraging, they have good ideas, and I love Gamora's new duds. Her exotic dancer outfit looked both impractical and ridiculous. I hope readers will give this book a chance.
