well i liked the anniversary cake idea, but now that it's confirmed to be multiple trays, well that just confirms a very grimdark and disgusting parade of supporting cast heads/bodyparts

It is a drawing in a comic, friend. No actual animals were harmed. All is well!

I don't like to see animals abused, either, but considering it's a fictional horse in a story full of human beings being brutalized and slaughtered, it seems a little...off. I don't mean to be a jerk, but I just never get that. Human beings being slaughtered wholesale, a maniac wearing his own rotting face submitting people to horrific physical and psychological torture, but the horse thing is what bothers you?

And as much as I love animals (and people), I often laugh when terrible things happen to fictional characters. The horse scene was just too ridiculous to take seriously.

If we go by Teen Titans #16, it turns out that

it isn't the same tray he presents to each member of the family, because he presents two trays to Red Hood and Red Robin, each one leaking blood. So it seems that we might 'need' to speculate about what is inside each individual tray.
