I think a lot of 1st world countries will end up like Japan in the next few hundred years: in a LOT OF TROUBLE. Look at their birth rate, it's shockingly low. As everything gets more expensive more people will have less kids as a result of this.

Also obesity has increased dramatically as well. We should be a world full of fat people with low birth rates.

In Europe during the last decade birth rates have pretty much been on the rise in most countries.

And obesity among children declined for the first time in a while last year in Germany. As did HIV infection rates in the entire population. And smoking.

It's not like prevention programs ALL fail.
