Agh, noooo! I had a sneaking suspicion of that regarding the fold-out cover also. I hope it's only temporary - big fan of Shining Knight (if the name didn't give it away) and the potential for her/him in an ongoing. I was going to run the 'but she has drunk the holy water/is blessed' argument, but having just read the preview for #16, I guess that's irrelevant, eep!
Yeah that's my thought too considering the cover composition. She's not on it and the amazon, however you spell her name, is the one most reacting to the splatter of blood from the side so I figure the splatter of blood is that Ystin is either being brutally murdered or turned.
Shame about I, Vampire, I really love that series. It's odd though as lots of people say it's good and they hardly sell any at my LCS compared to other much worse books. I hope it hasn't fallen victim to trade waiters.
With regard to if Andrew will show up in this arc, I think the answer is no. I, Vampire issue 0 was the first time Cain and Andrew met and that was in 1591 and the 30 year jump in Demon Knights puts that in 1043 right now. Also during the JLD crossover, when Bennett was in limbo, the voice that talked to him spoke about seven mystical warriors that defeated Cain (ie the Demon Knights), but I don't remember if the Demon Knights ever met Andrew back then.
Constantine,JLD and Animal Man. Ever since Jeff got unto JLD the line has been fantastic.
DC/Marvel reader. Mostly Superman,Batman,X-Men,Avengers fan...guess I am a fan of most comics.
I'll try out DC's Constantine considering I'm enjoying Lemire's Animal Man and Justice League Dark.
