All of entertainment can be boiled down to either Sex or Death
No amount of modern revisionism by the vocal internet minority can change the good work Bendis has done.
I absolutely love that he's putting this much effort in, this will be a great book

"Um, blah, blah, blah. And, Girl Power. Feminism, d'you know what I mean?"
This is going to be great. Gillen is the perfect choice for a Young Avengers book, and it sounds like he's got the right sensibility here.
Frankly, I'm just happy to see the YA franchise move forward after YEARS of waiting for Allan Heinberg to get back to it (with various not-moving-plot-forward minis to stave off hunger) and then another 2 YEARS of Children's Crusade.
It'll be great to finally see the Young Avengers with some real life in them again.

I wonder why he couldn't use Patriot. Did I miss that something happened to him?
It still seems weird to me to start the series off with Kate waking up from what seems to be a drunken one night stand. I'm sure the book will be good, but not sure I love that starting point.
My theory is that he's going to be the new Iron Patriot featured in Secret Avengers... Because I can't think of anything else that's been announced that he could really be a part of that would eliminate him from the pool of usable characters for Gillen.
Also, I want this book so bad.
