    Default Detective Comics #16 Review

John Layman and Jason Fabok take "Detective Comics" #16 in a different direction for the "Death of the Family" tie-in, and the end result makes it one of the best ones yet.

I actually picked this up and have no idea how this got four stars. I honestly couldn't even get myself to read the whole thing, about halfway through I started skimming towards the end. I'm not exactly super hyper critical either - I read the good stuff but also some guilty pleasures.

I'll stick w/Snyder's Batman and Morrison's Batman Inc (also Batman & Robin b/c I'm one of those weirdos that actually likes Damian.)

Fabok's art reminds me of both David Finch's and Brian Bolland's. He's one of DC's best hires in recent years.
