I wonder if Tom Welling's Superman will make an appearance on Arrow.
While I would like to see some more than normal human heroes, the producers are claiming that there will be no super-powers. So that combined with the fact that this is a different take on the Green Arrow from Smallvilles stories would make that something not likely to happen.

I think its interesting that a guest appearance of Clark Kent in a proposed Batman origin series on the WB Network spawned Smallville. So even if Batman never appears on the CW, he has already accomplished something.![]()
They'd have to be careful with having Wonder Woman guest star on Arrow. Most of the characters and villains are street level and they really tried the whole Nolan approach of making everything seem somewhat more realistic than the comics. I'm not sure how well an immortal Amazonian princess with super strength fits that context.
She doesn't really, which is why we probably shouldn't expect her to appear on Arrow. The CW prez said in his interview was that she was available to appear in Arrow, but that the decision whether she would or not would be up to the showrunners. And they've already said, more than once, that they're staying away from superpowers in Arrow.
And I still maintain that if the ratings start to dip a few seasons down the road they may consider re-evaluating that stance. If they are in a position of facing cancellation, why not bring in a few super-powered character to see if that helps improve the situation. But I don't see them changing until that point.

My point is simply that if the ratings are slipping, and you are headed to cancellation, what would it hurt to try it. Worst case, it has ZERO effect or even causes the rating to dive even more. Best case, people start tuning in again for the Super Powered heroes and villains that guest star, potentially buying you another year or two on the air, and all those people get to remain employed.
So it may not help, but it certainly couldn't hurt in that situation to just try it.
