So Rogue is back in a X-Book. Kinda upset that Pixie is doing so little in the first arc. Also VERY happy to see Jubilee again. From the cast alone, I will be buying this book.

But as for romance, I'm definitely curious! Given the nature of this book, who could she hook up with? She hasn't really gotten intimate with anyone since Korvus in the Shi'ar story. Overall, I love what I'm hearing for this book. Rachel has been somewhat marginalized since AvX and I think this will be a great way to play a more active role once more.
Agreed. I am very happy that Rachel, along with Storm, is getting an opportunity to shine and get some focus. I liked the poiint you make about her experience from the future timeline making her see things from a more global perspective. I also hope that Storm and Rachel's close history is also touched on, as well as Rachel and Kitty's friendship.

Love love love love love this book even before reading it! Can't wait to get me some Rachel characterization, as she has always been one of my fave characters in comicdom. Wood is amazing, and Coipel's visuals on women are just jaw dropping.

I also wonder how Wood got Rogue away from Remender's hands as sole writer of the character. Also, gonna be interesting to see if UXF will be even on the level with this, because if Storm and Psylocke are better handled here, I will be picking this up rather than UXF.

Just 2 things to nitpick at here:
    1. I wish they would just get rid of the Jubilee vamp thing. It's just...annoying.
    2. Is Coipel inking his own work? Because if so, these issues may be delayed more so than they already will be. Get the man a good inker and keep his work flowing!

Is Coipel a slow artist? Ihad no idea.

Jubilee's vampirism is really the only thing that has me interested in her. At the sametime though I do hope she regains her mutant powers.

I hope Jubilee gets her powers back and gives up the 'True Blood' routine.

There's a lot of tucking and duct-tape in Fearless Defenders. Authenticity in doubt :/
