    I'd buy it.

Plus it's a great chance to explore more of the supporting cast. So once again, I enjoy reading your work. Great job! There are a lot of cool things about this short. Plus plenty of opportunity to explore other stories connected to this one down the line.
Thanks for taking the time to read it, you two! I'm doing a 'series' of them and maybe I'll run it by you later

I'd say because the whole message of the film is supposed to be "uplifting". So you end it with Superman taking off, or ascending, to reinforce that theme. Plus Clark was already walking through the park, so it makes sense that he would have to "take off" :)

Awesome. That fanfilm captured the heart and core of Superman MORE than the comics have for nearly 15 years. And it's true; it put 10 seasons of Smallville to shame.

I'd add that it also showed Superman was 'down here' and 'among us' - that although we often look for 'him' above, sometimes the 'superman' we need is right next you...right place, right time.

We knew it was Superman, she didn't, but, at that moment, that guy who spoke to her for a few minutes was her 'Superman'.

(But that's just my soppy view )

I agree with you. It showed that Superman was actually a very "down to earth" kind of guy. He lives among us, rather than flying over us forcing his will on us (as Clark mentions). There is a lot to this film to dig into. It really does get right to the core of Superman in a much more powerful way than any other film, show, or comic has in a very long time.

I wouldn't say this movie totally blew my mind, but it was good. If you like a more human Superman, it captures the essentials of the character. I liked how he was relentless to help, but knows that he can't be too coercive in forcing his will. Also, he's effective. I feel like there's a temptation sometimes to make Superman who's so alien, he doesn't get humans, and doesn't know how to diffuse a difficult situation.

Wonderful, this made me tear up.

And then you read people saying that he's too vanilla and that he should be a dick to be relevant.

Anyway, what a great little film.
