Namor's love life has had its ups and downs: he's courted his cousin, Lady Dorma, the aquatic Alpha Flighter Marrina and the Fantastic Four's Sue Storm among quite a few others. Most of these have ended less than well.
But what if....Namor wished to marry your son and/or daughter, hypothetical or otherwise? Would you allow the king of the oceans to bend down on one knee and ask for your child's hand in marriage? Would you fear for their safety or be happy knowing they're off to live the life of luxury 20,000 leagues under the sea?

It wasn't marriage, but apparently, Loa's parents have accepted Loa living beneath the waves in Atlantis, presumably under Namor's guardianship.
