My LCS still has the original issue for sale. Who demanded a reprint?

I hate to be negative about it, but yeah another guy here who just doesn't feel much love for Alpha. I hope it sells okay for the sake of the creators, and hey if I hear a lot of good word of mouth about it maybe I'll try it after all.

I won't be buying the reprint because I already have the issue but I may buy the miniseries. You were MEANT to hate Alpha, that was the entire point of the story. This mini is what's supposed to make you like him. We'll see if it works.

They are really pushing Alpha. No desire to read it. If it tanks hard, maybe Marvel will get the message.

Maybe Alpha will become a more likeable character, and the mini will be good.

I will give it the benefit of the doubt and sample the first issue but I don't have high hopes. Y'know, in theory at least, the idea of a failed sidekick that Spidey is responsible for is not a bad one. I just thought the story was not executed well and what made it worse is that it was the lead tale in his 50th Anniversary issue and felt rushed on the road to #700. Perhaps if this was introduced at another time and the character was less of a douchebag (yes, I know we were not supposed to like him but still....) this character could have worked better.

This is a marketing test to see who buys any crap Marvel throws out there. They have alot more waiting in the wings

Not buying it. I'll read the first issue of the mini after Marvel puts it on their app for free.
