You're giving her too much credibility. The crap she's pulled on her fellow teens wouldn't fly so far with more experienced heroes. Except perhaps Captain Britain, because he was stupid enough to let her into his academy.

I wouldn't be so sure.

I mean do you honestly think Kid Briton was at Braddock Academy for being a 'good guy'? Hell, no. He was there because our Brian Braddock knew that this kid version of himself was going to have all that power but none of the morale fibre to use it properly. We're told his dimension collapsed in some fashion. How do we know Kid Briton didn't in some way even cause that to happen?

Anyway, my point is that he was on the roster for a similar reason to why the original Avengers Academy kids were taken on. Because of the genuine threat they could become if left to their own devices.

I wouldn't be surprised if to some degree Apex was considered similarly. She's got potential super-villain written all over her.

(It's probable that this has already been discussed, but I'm not checking through 100+ pages for it. )

Just how old is Deathlok supposed to be? I was a little bit startled when she and Tim started making out, since I thought Tim and Katy were supposed to be at least seventeen, whereas Becca seemed more like...fourteen max.

I'll admit, three years isn't a huge age difference by adult standards, but in my school it would be enough to make people raise eyebrows. Maybe being in a fight for your life makes things like that matter less...?

Except Tim has supposedly been trapped behind his sister's eyes for two years, so I'm not sure you can say he's the age he appears. I mean, while it's not quite like being in a coma for two years, it's not really time you can spend growing up.

I also didn't get why at the start of the issue he says he's spent six years trapped in his sister's head, when later on he say's two.

Indeed I only bother to read Earth 2 these days on any consistent Basis. Marvel, Image and other independents dominate.

Only thing I find myself reading from them is Batman and thats it. I love my Marvel and Independents.
