That Ant-Man reference is a really stretch. That was just Nick responding to what Loki said.

A lot of those aren't actually easter eggs, but actually major plot elements.

This too. I mean, would Thanos be considered one?

Well, most people would only have seen the movie, not interviews that actually explains who's the mysterious man smiling at the end of the film.

Easter Egg implies something you might miss easilyl. Thanos is there for all to see.

You might not know who Thanos is, but if you saw the scene, you know that a large, purple alien is involved.

Contrast with the World's fair scene in Captain America. You can easily miss the Human Torch's cameo, even if you know who he is.

No sh*t! I've watched Captain America a couple times, and I've never noticed him. I feel...a tad retarded at the moment.
Freedom is the ability to live without fear of persecution. Nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

I kinda grinned when he said the Ant thing but it isn't Ant-man.
I recognized the captain america 'Human torch' hint and knew it wasn't Johnny, i BET chris evans felt awkward.

Well, kinda awkward when Loki mentioned something really irrelevant like Ant and boot, right?

How is "normal mode/combat mode" an Easter egg for anything?

I caught that in my first viewing and it's a great example of an easteregg. Admittedly the Project Pegasus bit is kind of an easter egg on that level. But the rest are more just plot elements or sequel set-up
