Since always. Good costume design is supposed to be eye catchy, functional, and not overly cluttered. It's like the 1990s costumes, especially Cable. He had too much padding, straps, unnecessary pouches, and they were too small to carry any thing useful or practical. The comics industry develops and changes just like everything else. Bachelo, bless the man, has a great style, but he goes way overboard with clutter on his costume designs, and it results in a mess. He also recycles his own costume designs. While other artists will even change their own costumes when they return to a book, Bachelo doesn't he reuses the same exact designs, almost to the point where it is the exact same costume.

These designs are bad, and I expected as much from a Cable fan, no offense.

Again, Cable's pouches are what they are.

Thousands of other superhero costumes, function has no business in comics. (Unless thats what the artists wants to portray. So Cable's uniform had pouches and straps, like every other soldier in existance. Was it taken the extreme? Yes, of course, lol. Emma, Storm, Thors giant kneepads, Namor's speedo, Rogue's zipper, Caps wings. do i need to go on? Not functional at all. But still iconic and cool.

And which designs has Bachalo reused?

And like i said, they will look fine once you read the book. Like Magneto's purple penis suit.
