There would be 3 major story arcs in the game
1; Hush is committing crimes using his new face, and frames Bruce Wayne, leadng to Wayne's arrest, thus effectively taking Batman out of the picture.

2; Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl have to fill in for Batman's absence, with the player controlling all three of them.

3; A number of supervillains lead a breakout of Arkham and Blackgate Prisons and take over Gotham City.

The game map would be much larger than in Arkham City.

No thanks. Batman is the one everybody want to control.

Could be the prophecy of Azrael, with the return of Scarecrow and Hush.

I'll get a little wild with the concept.

Batman Beyond. Will Friedle as Batman, with Kevin Conroy as the man speaking into his ear (and showing up a couple times, why not?). Old Gotham still factors in, the rundown old buildings nestled between the mega-structures of Neo-Gotham. Gigantic sewers.

Jet-boots, extendable wings, microphones on fingertips, razor claws, flying Batmobile, clinging to walls, limited invisibility, maybe the ability to pack the costume and walk the streets as Terry.

Jokerz on every street corner, Blight, Shriek, Spellbinder, Stalker, Curare, Kobra, Inque, the Royal Flush Gang.

If I'm not mistaken, they've already modeled the Beyond Suit for alternate costumes, right?

Its been confirmed as a prequel called Arkham: Origins. Set on Christmas eve early in Batman's timeline where he hasnt come across any 'freaks'/supervillians, Black Mask assassins to kill the Batman. Black Mask, Deathstroke and Penguin only villians revealed so far.
