Okay so some Lee stats:

Speed-wise, he's pretty damn fast. Sasuke could blitz a group of Zabuza clones that were at least peak human. Haku can not only blitz Sasuke but he take care of of a group of Naruto clones all while a droplet of water is frozen in the air. Lee is explicitly shown as being faster than that, and then he takes his weights off.

Strength-wise, the guy puts his arm through the ground and drags up a tree root that was actually larger than himself. On top of walking around wearing weights that create decent craters (and make the arena tremble a little) when he takes them off. As a sidenote, Sasuke could KO a bear whose head was bigger than his entire body around this time and Lee can easily deal with him at this point.

With the Gates, he's visibly making sonic booms while moving and the force of him running kind of wrecked the arena.


He has no way to deal with the elementals and Lizard's mind powers can make things difficult for him. Morlun is also kind of out of his league given his BP feats.

He does rather well against the others though.

If the fight's taking place in a city or something I think he might be able deal with the elementals.

It's not like Spidey's powerset is any more ideal for fighting them.

Spidey beats Sandy and Waterboy with his brain and terrain, that's certain.

Shocker, Green Goblin, Doc Ock and even Kraven the Hunter get slaughtered.

Hell, I think he'd even be able to take down the Rhino, though I agree the incorporeal villains will be trickier. He has, however, fought against sand before (Gaara) and held his own if I recall correctly. Of course Sandman doesn't really have a physical body to punch so maybe it's a moot point.

Point: Sasuke was only keeping up with non-mirror Haku. When he broke out the mirrors, Haku was making Sasuke look like he was in slow motion and was able to intercept a short range Chidori from Kakashi (albeit at the cost of his life).

When the Sharigan activates, Sasuke is able to see and react to Haku's mirror speed.

As an aside, Haku being able to intercept Kakashi's Chidori is PIS. Really cool, really emotional and all that, but the guy is not that fast.

IIRC, Sasuke was able to start to figure out his movements and use his Sharingan to just barely dodge him, but not actually keep pace with Haku's speed. He did manage to land a blow on Haku but that was by going all out to protect Naruto while sacrificing himself in the process (which is basically what Haku did to the Chidori; maybe its some kind of near death power-epiphany, like Kanou Shou suddenly being able to block bullets while giving his life for Miu in HSDK?). And even then, Sasuke took like 6-12 precision targeted strikes while managing to land one, and Haku spent that entire fight trying not to kill him or Naruto. OTOH, that does mean he did those feats with multiple non-lethal stab wounds, which is pretty neat as well.

So basically what I said? With the Sharingan Sasuke is able to see and react to Haku's speed.

Sasuke is specifically shown as not being able do the same with Lee.
