Amazing Spider-Man #141-142

Spider-Man vs. Mysterio. Quentin Beck died off panel for no particular reason, and a new guy has taken over for him for no particular reason. Similar to the Blackie Drago story. Also, Jameson is back to employing super-villains. I wish he'd stop that.

The main plot of these two issues borrows too much from past stories without adding anything. However, the subplots are excellent. Pete and MJ growing closer. Betty and Ned setting a date. And Pete seeing a girl on the street who almost looks like... nah, couldn't be.

Spider-Man and Iron Fist vs. Drom, the Backwards Man!

I appreciate cool science fiction. I think Drom is one of the best characters to be introduced in Marvel Team-Up.

Spider-Man and Punisher

This is the third Punisher story, and it feels more like people associate with Punisher stories than his last two appearances. Killing criminals and narrating from his war journal. The story also introduces Moses Magnum.
