A really great issue. Sejic's art continues to blow me away. Lush and fantastic and beautiful - and an opening scene that is sexily hot as hell.

And it's a great build up to what's coming. I can't wait for Sara to learn the truth - she will not be happy.

I've heard nothing but amazing things about this issue. I can't wait to read it but I don't get my comics until the end of the month.

This was my very first issue and I bought it for the art alone, but the story was very well done. I went ahead and pre ordered the rest of the top cow universe books. Cant wait to read First Born amd all the rest that lead up to now.

While Finch and Dani are having scorching hot sex on Earth, the Realm of the Angelus is completely destroyed and all her warriors slaughtered by something that resembles the Darkness. Yet Finch was completely unaware when she should have sensed the incursion. After destroying the invading creature. Finch and Dani return to Earth, to find Tom Judge waiting for them. He tells them he is now sure that Jackie is responsible for this altered universe, and that he is going to destroy Jackie, and needs their help.

So I have just caught up on Artifacts since the original mini series. This title is fantastic and I would even say the best title in the Top Cow universe.

I stopped reading Top Cow a few years ago after being a big fan of The Darkness but no longer enjoying the title. On a whim, I decided to grab the Artifacts trade and loved it. I have since picked up every issue of Artifacts and started reading The Darkness and Witchblade again from the Rebirth.

Tom Judge has become my favourite character in this universe, he reminds me of John Constantine. And the artwork on this title is easily some of the best in comics. I am tempted to grab the rest of Stjephan Sejic's work.

Damn good book highly recommend to anyone who hasnt to go read marz and sejics 6 issue angelus mini series from a while back that shows dani and finches original relationship come togethor, before the reboot which resulted in them not knowing each other, until a few issues ago and this issue

People have said Sejic work is static and his faces dont work, BULLSHIT.
his facial and emotional work in this series alone has been incredible, and he draws some of the most beautiful erotic love scenes in comics with out ever seeming distasteful. in said scene in this issue, dani and finches facial expressions are even more of a turn on than any ass or cleavage shots other artist might have added.

BTW, if you guys havnt already, you should all check out Marz and Sejics run on Witchblade. It was awesome.

Yeah, waiting for the Witchblade Compendium vol 3 which will collect #101-150, including Sejic's entire run on the book. Also going to get First Born, Broken Trinity, and Angelus soon
