In terms of what people actually do, robbing people for the sake of robbing them is a legitimate thing to do. As for him kicking Morbius's ass, well, Morbius actually was trying to run away from them, which is actually a strategy that's been implored in quite a few Morbius issues. He was tired, hungry, and didn't want to draw much attention to himself, so he thought he would escape to the subway. Had he not saved Germain, he probably would have gotten away.

As for them beating him, he was tired and hungry and it's a well known fact that a shot-gun blast to the chest can and will take him out if he's not already at maximum health.

Also...so, this is a stupid, but I demand a cross-over between Morbius and Venom. Why? Because I want it and I already get both books anyways.
