I really hope Chamber never leaves this book (even if it's been stated he won't stay ¬_¬).
He's not dished out a smack-down like that since Omega Red!

^he's not staying? where was that stated. :(
I cant wait to pick up this trade. Chamber actually does stuff!
This issue...my body was NOT ready for it.Gah
SO good,SO GOOD!
And hear me out but I think the eyeball monster has possessed Sojobo and that's why the kid's eyeballs were left behind.
I think you're probably right. On my second read-through, I realized that after the explosion, Sojobo's eyes are hidden until the final panel, where they obviously look super different from his sister's eyebulbs. So what do we think? Has the Eyeball Monster taken over Sojobo? Will David have to invade the JGSHL to work an eye transplant? Is the Eyeball Monster connected to Blindfold? And if so, did he steal Blindfold's eyes back in the day?
I'm shaking my fist at you, Spurrier. You're too damn good.
-Pav, who wonders what a trip to the Jean Grey School will mean in terms of (hopefully left-field) guest appearances...
Currently reading: Scarlet Spider X-Men: Legacy Morbius Hawkeye X-Factor Young Avengers
I really like the Blindfold/Legion dynamic. He's overwhelmed by too many personalities, she's plagued by visions of futures to come that overwhelm her, often times. Between the two of them, they're so broken, and as a potential couple...
Well, the idea that they might offer each other solace, somehow, I find very hopeful story to see play out. Otherwise, they're both delightfully off-kilter, and it will be fun anyway.

If you don't follow his tumblr, you should. I'd like to read an issue like that (especially if it has retro art too).Originally Posted by Si Spurrier

Just got it but won't be able to read it til tonight!! But damn I am looking forward to it!!
I like this comment:
Random general ancillary thought: the idea of this title from the getgo was to assume readers are smart, unashamedly strange people who pay close attention, and work upwards from there. That’s not a vibe everyone’s going to appreciate, I get that. A lot of really bright people want their comics to be straightforward, unambiguous fun — and there’s nothing wrong with that. But it’s good that Marvel’s becoming comfortable with material that makes pricier demands.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
I like it too. Interesting bit here:
Is he going to pick up old plots? In the unlikely form of Ruth Haldane, a blind girl with a disconcerting speech impediment. You look her up on Wikipedia - and I know you shall - and you’re going to find a lot of unanswered questions about her backstory.
Those questions will be answered next episode.

So, who else thinks that Blindfold is the eye-demon thing from last issue ?
Blindfold has no eyes... the villain/whatever thingy is JUST eyes... Connection ?
I think it's spoilers:end of spoilers
her brother mentionned by Destiny.
I didn't know SS set up a tumblr for Legacy. I like that man more and more.
Favorite thing he commented:
Hearts and all that emoticon love parade for it.Page 4: Hi, Blindfold. You’re a lot more important than people realise, aren’t you? Yes you are, yes you are.
Hope he does a retro themed episode he mentioned in Medusa post. The way off-the-wall monologue describing using powers sounded so Claremontonian, it begs to be published.
