I was thinking something along those lines. Only have armor in areas where its vital (isn't that basically what they did with Cap in Avengers?)

Isn't the whole 'leader' thing more Superman's thing while Batman has always kind of been the guy who's more lead-by-example?

Generally Supes is the example and Bats the tactician. I consider Supes the overall leader, but it's often too close to call.
