I thought their previous review of 700 to be fairly accurate to mine. I'll look to see if this one was for SSM as well.

Anyway, I love the dude, but this twist was so expected...Just shocked at how soon it was shown. It's the only thing I think he did wrong.
Yeah it was bound to happen, just the first issue, is quite early

This was a decent issue, easily my least favourite Spider-man one ever. And thats ironic seeing as this is the debut of a new one.
    And the MJ relationship? Creepy!

I feel all reviews, everywhere/anywhere are pretty accurate...because they are all someone's "opinion"... regardless of how high or low they "score" it.

I personally always enjoy reading opinion pieces that review things to see how others thought about it also, regardless of my view. :)

Ok....Superior Spider-Man is kinda interesting, i admit....that being said....i miss Peter Parker and that there isn't a "real" spider-man monthly being published

True. I think people forget that.... especially when the opinion doesnt match their own.

Just read the ign review and I agreed with a lot of what he said honestly. He even mentioned the art and how Delgado's coloring hurt it, which I commented that the coloring did not work for Stegman's sketch book-like style in another topic.

I think the 6.2 score the reviewer gave was a bit too low though.

I must say I really loved the way they showed us how the new Spider-Man is going to be 'superior'...its not just Doc Ock's ego talking, but the fact that he really IS going to be a whole different kind of Spider-Man with a different kind of methodology!

Ever since the reveal at the end, I've seen this theory circulating around, most notably on the Comic Vine site, that it might actually have been Peter all along, albeit 'brainwashed' to believe he's Doc. If that's the case, then when Peter eventually becomes 'himself' (or regains control of his body, whichever may be the case), I do hope the 'Superior' era will have some impact on him and his methods as Spider-Man and he does incorporate at least SOME of the changes in tactics that 'Otto' has developed for him.
