What can I say about this issue that I have'nt said about the whole series?

I mean, Robinson does once again a fantastic job at creating compelling characters for this book. We finally see Steppenwolf again and he does his best to give a good impression in both the readers and the country where he is, he inmediately kills the king of that nation and takes control of it, thanks to the help of the new Fury, the daughter of Wonder Woman who follows his orders without question.

And for those who are asking, no, this is not Donna Troy.

I love this small issues where Robinson takes his time to develope both the world and the story from this book, next issue starts the Tower of Fate story, I definitely have faith that it will be great.

Her father is most likely Steve Trevor just like in the previous Earth 2.

The thought of it being Steppenwolf gave me the chills. If it is Trevor then she'd be less powerful than Diana just more ruthless.

I don't see why she should be less powerful than Diana just because her father was human, if we follow the current book the Amazons also have human blood and they're not weaker for that.

Dunno. Just speculating myself. Was Diana the daughter of Zeus here too? Do we know anything of her origin? Or the Amazons on Earth 2?

I'll read it again, but I was a little disappointed in this issue. I've loved the series up to now, but it seemed so predictable and a long setup for such an obvious outcome. Steppenwolf looks like one of Robinson's "too perfect" characters, like Shade, Outsider and Prometheus. It worked for Shade, but I didn't like how he handled the other two.

We don't know a lot about the Amazons nor the WW from Earth 2 besides that she was the first superhero on that earth and that's why they call their metahumans "Wonders".

I dunno, I don't think Steppenwolf is "Too perfect", at least not more perfect than your usual world conquering egomaniacal villain. Robinson is just trying to portray him as a real and dangerous threat.

I don't want Fury to be DT if she ends up being WWs daughter from a parallel earth. NO THANKS. I'll stick with my Troy withdrawls.

I like the idea that she's Hippolyta Trevor more than it being Donna Troy. And if she's been in Steppenwolf's control for the past five years, the rest of the Earth-2 heroes will need to do a lot to undo his brainwashing.
